U7 (2020) Advanced Skating & Hockey Development Program

Designed for families with previous skating and ice hockey skills experience. Saturdays focus on advanced skill work with Hamilton Steel Development coaches. Sundays are built around half-ice hockey games so players can apply those skills in action.

Full ice hockey equipment required (including a stick). No hockey on Thanksgiving Weekend, includes a 2-week Christmas holiday break, and the program finishes before March Break.

Weekend Format (What to Expect)

A true “develop + apply” program: skill work first, game application second.

  • Saturday mornings: power skating, passing, shooting, and hockey fundamentals
  • Sunday mornings: half-ice hockey games to apply skills in action
  • Week 1: player evaluations to help balance teams for the season

  • Equipment: full ice hockey equipment required (including a stick)
  • Included: Hamilton Steel jerseys/socks
  • Season finish: before March Break (with holiday breaks as noted)
