On Friday, April 11, 2025 Hockey Helps the Homeless (HHTH) will host its FIRST-EVER charity hockey tournament in the Hamilton-Burlington area at Hamilton's Mohawk 4 Ice Centre.
This year, the
YMCA of Hamilton|Burlington|Brantford has been selected as the beneficiary of this incredible event - a first for our community and a unique opportunity to make a lasting impact.
Here's what makes this event so special:
- A Star-Studded Lineup: HHTP brings together amateur players, NHL alumni, and Olympians for a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Teams are captained by fundraisers who draft NHL alumni Olympians, giving participants the chance to skate alongside their hockey heroes.
- Purpose with Passion: Proceeds raised from the tournament will directly support the YMCA Men's Residence in Hamilton and the Youth in Transition program in Burlington, both of which play a critical role in addressing homelessness in our communities.
- A Cause That Matters: HHTH is a Canadian charitable organization that leverages hockey to raise awareness and funds to combat homelessness, aligning perfectly with our mission of strengthening communities.
