U13 Hamilton Steel Champions in Barrie!
The U13 AAA Hamilton
Steel won their first tournament of the season on Sunday in Barrie. The Steel
won all of their round robin games in convincing fashion setting up a great
semi final game vs. Markham winning 4-2. The championship game was another
intense and fast paced game against "Top 10 Ranked" Sudbury
Wolves. A true team effort of was needed to grind out the 2-0 empty net
win. The coaches are very proud of the way our group responded to the
challenge, attention detail, and willingness to put the team first. The
team finished the tournament with six wins straight and only gave up six goals
all weekend. We look forward to our next tournament at home in
Hamilton, December 1st.
